Funeral Wreaths

Funeral wreaths are a traditional circular tribute, symbolising eternity, love and remembrance. At Anastasia Florists we create beautiful funeral wreaths in our Aberdeen flower shop using fresh, seasonal blooms in a choice of colours and styles – from classic white and green to soft pastels or richer tones.

Funeral wreaths can be sent by family, friends, colleagues or neighbours, and are suitable for services at the crematorium, church or graveside. All our funeral flowers include free delivery to local funeral directors in Aberdeen, or to the family home if preferred, and we work closely with them to ensure your tribute arrives on time for the service.

What is a funeral wreath?

A funeral wreath is a circular floral tribute, often placed on a stand or laid flat, symbolising eternity and everlasting love. Wreaths are a very traditional choice and can be created in a range of sizes and colours. They are suitable from close family members, friends, colleagues or neighbours who wish to pay their respects.

What colours and styles can I choose for a funeral wreath?

You can choose from soft, gentle colours such as whites, creams, pale pinks and lilacs, or opt for stronger tones like reds, yellows, blues and purples if that feels more fitting. Our florists can also include favourite flowers where possible, or create a classic mixed wreath with seasonal blooms and greenery. We are happy to advise on colours and styles if you are unsure.

Who usually sends a funeral wreath and where is it delivered?

Funeral wreaths can be sent by close family, extended family, friends, colleagues or neighbours. They are normally delivered to the funeral director, church, crematorium or family home before the service. We provide free delivery of funeral wreaths to local funeral directors and will liaise with them to ensure your tribute is in place in good time.

How much notice do you need for a funeral wreath and can it be personalised?

We recommend giving as much notice as possible, ideally a few days before the service, especially for larger wreaths or specific flower requests. However, we will always try to help with shorter notice where we can. Wreaths can be personalised with ribbon sashes, names or short messages such as “Mum”, “Dad”, “Grandad” or “With Love”.
