Funeral letter and number tributes are a special way to create a name, word or initials in flowers – such as “MUM”, “DAD”, “GRAN”, children’s names or meaningful words. Number tributes are also popular for special ages or squad numbers. Each piece is created on a shaped frame and finished with fresh flowers, ribbon and optional cluster sprays in your chosen colours.

At Anastasia Florists we hand-craft funeral letters and numbers in our Aberdeen flower shop and can create single letters, full names or grouped tributes mounted on bars. All funeral flowers include free delivery to local funeral directors in Aberdeen, churches, crematoriums or to the family home if preferred, and we work closely with funeral directors to ensure everything arrives in good time for the service.

Popular choices include “MUM”, “DAD”, “GRAN”, children’s names, “SON”, “BROTHER” and meaningful words like “NANA” or “PAL”. These tributes are usually sent by close family members.

What colours and styles can I choose for letters and numbers?

You can choose from a traditional based style with a white flower base and coloured flower clusters, or a more open, loose style with mixed flowers throughout. Ribbon edging is available in a range of colours and we can include favourite flowers or team colours where possible. Our florists will help you select a colour scheme and style that feels right for your loved one.

How many letters or numbers can I order and how are they displayed?

You can order single letters or numbers, or longer words and names mounted together on a bar. Common choices include three-letter tributes such as “MUM”, “DAD” or “GRAN”, but we can also create longer names and combinations depending on space and budget. The funeral director will usually place the tributes alongside the coffin or in a suitable position at the service.

How much notice do you need and where do you deliver?

Because letter and number tributes are made on specific frames, we recommend ordering a few days before the funeral where possible, especially for longer names or special colour requests. However, we will always try to help with shorter notice if we can. We provide free delivery of funeral letters and numbers to local funeral directors, churches, crematoriums and family homes across Aberdeen.
